On Saturday 26/06/2025 , we had a wonderful time with our girls while encouraging them to be involved into leadership role because it’s important for achieving gender equality, fostering diverse perspectives in decision making and inspiring future generations.
We highlighted communication, problem solving and team-building. Women leaders from various sectors shared their journeys and offered advice. We had some activities around “ Design a Successful future leader” based on leadership’s experience with the school, home or community.
The key message shared were:
Leadership isn’t just about having a title yet the initiative, empathetic and resilience.
Girls can lead in any field from science, politics, arts and everyday life.
Confidence grow through action, right support, and learning from setbacks.
Having a health relationship with parents is crucial as we prepare to become leaders of tomorrow.
Let continue to encourage our girls into leadership by introducing them to devere female leaders early on, allow them to take a risk without fear of judgement, offer them leadership opportunities and celebrate their efforts.
The feedback were amazing, girls expressed feeling empowered and went home with a strong interest in attending future event . 🥰
Thank you to QueenBea Christopher and Ruth Ngwata for organising.
