About Us
The Coventry Empowered African Women Group was established by Mrs. Ruth Ngwata five years ago. Her aim is to support, advocate for, and promote African women's heritage.
CEAWG is comitted to - support, advocate, and promote African women and girls in the community by providing necessary information about different available services that meet their needs. promote women’s sense of self-worth, their ability to determine their own choice, and their right to influence social change for themselves and others.
• To support women and girls with different services such as, carrier advises, interpreter, health life style, Advise and counselling, kids supporting group and also provide different workshops to promote the awareness of our culture to our children and some other problem that an African women or girls account every day in the British society.
• Also provide support in the advancement of citizenship or community development. This support will be focused on social and the community best interest rather than the individual
