Our Black History Month event celebrated the rich history, culture, and achievements of Black communities. Through speakers, performances, and fashion show, participants explored the legacy of Black leaders, reflected on ongoing struggles for equity, and honored the contributions that continue to shape our world. The event encouraged learning, unity between nations and inspiration for meaningful action year-round.

Coventry Empowered African Women Group would like to say thank you to Sport England for accepting to grant us a lottery Award to allow us to provide more support to Amaraba dancing group with a weekly dance and fitness sessions for black women and girls in Coventry. The project will last 48 weeks . The funding will help pay for travel, equipment, choaches and publicity. We wouldn’t have done it without your support .
