International Women's day
8 March 2026

International Women’s Day 2026 was a truly memorable and inspiring occasion, centred around the powerful theme: “Give to Gain.” The event brought together a vibrant community to celebrate the achievements, resilience, and impact of women, while reinforcing the idea that by supporting others, we all rise. This year’s celebration was made even more special by the presence of the Lord Mayor of Coventry, alongside distinguished female councillors, whose attendance highlighted the importance of championing women’s voices and contributions across our communities. The day was filled with energy, connection, and purpose. A series of inspiring speakers shared personal journeys, wisdom, and encouragement, reflecting the essence of “Give to Gain” through stories of mentorship, generosity, and empowerment. Their messages reminded us that when women invest in each other—through time, knowledge, and support—the rewards are felt collectively. Guests enjoyed a dynamic programme of entertainment, including captivating dance performances and music from the DJ that kept the atmosphere vibrant and celebratory. The event also proudly showcased women-led businesses and artistic talents, offering a platform for creativity, entrepreneurship, and collaboration. A delicious selection of food, thoughtfully prepared by the hotel, provided the perfect setting for networking and meaningful conversations. Throughout the event, professional photography captured the joy, elegance, and powerful moments shared among attendees. One of the most impactful highlights was the awards and appreciation ceremony, where remarkable women were recognised for their dedication and achievements. This was followed by heartfelt testimonies from individuals and organisations, sharing how women’s groups continue to uplift, support, and create opportunities for others. These stories beautifully embodied the theme “Give to Gain,” showing how acts of giving—whether through guidance, resources, or encouragement—lead to growth, success, and stronger communities. International Women’s Day 2026 was more than just a celebration; it was a powerful reminder that when women come together to give, support, and empower, everyone gains. The event left a lasting impression of unity, inspiration, and a shared commitment to continue building a future where every woman can thrive. See you next year
