On Saturday, 08/03/2025, the Village Hotel in Coventry became the heart of an extraordinary celebration—International Women’s Day 2025. This year’s event was more than just a gathering; it was a powerful reminder that when women rise, society rises with them.
The evening began with an atmosphere of excitement as guests arrived, checked in, and enjoyed a photo shoot, gift collection, and their first drinks. Display stations around the venue showcased the work of inspiring women, setting the stage for an empowering night ahead. A total of 95 women attended the event, including the DJ and the photographer.
One of the highlights of the evening was the arrival of the Mayor and the Lady Mayoress, marking a moment of official recognition and support. The Mayor then led a toast, symbolizing unity and commitment to the cause, before delivering a heartfelt welcome speech.
Throughout the evening, guests were inspired by a series of speeches, poetry, songs, and other performances. Dr. Abi from Warwick University introduced the Clarity+ Project—a groundbreaking initiative focused on empowering women through research, education, and policy development.
This was more than just an event; it was a movement. It reinforced the idea that empowerment is not only about providing opportunities but also about breaking down barriers, amplifying women’s voices, and supporting one another in every possible way.
Together, we can.

Good job, keep it up
